Sip and Dip

February 1st, my mom’s friends surprised her with a “sip and dip” aka a painting party. They surprised her to make her feel better because of everything that has been going on (grief) with losing Lauryn (her daughter/my sister). We were supposed to get there at 3 but I was late 🙄. I had to go pick up the food first so I was 20 minutes late and I missed the reaction. My godmother said my mom cried when she walked in. They were happy tears of course …. By the time I got there everyone was sipping, dipping, and having fun. I walked in with a bouquet of roses for my mom to excuse my tardiness and also to give to my mom “just because”.

If you have not been to Culture Canvas in Baton Rouge, you must go. It was a very therapeutic but an up-beat atmosphere and relaxing at the same time. The teacher is very professional and talented. I would definitely go back.

I wore all denim; Denim shirt, denim jeans, and denim shoes. All that I have blogged before EXCEPT the pants. The pants are high-waisted wide leg crop ….. from TARGET. I love Target 🥰. I was worried how I’d look in the jeans being that the whole leg is wide … and I’m wide … and short … 😑 but it worked out ok lol.
