Saints Super Bowl Reunion

It's been TEN YEARS! 10 years since my husband, Tracy Porter, picked off Peyton Manning in super bowl 44 ….. Oh! And 10 years since the Saints won the super bowl and we seen our Saints family all together. The Saints organized a 10 year reunion for those who were on the team at that time. They created an itinerary for us for the 3 days we were there; this included a gala, meeting of current players, lunch, dinner, programs, parties, and of course the game. It was so nice seeing everybody. That team was like family. I heard someone ask Tracy (in so many words) how did they win and how did they get to the super bowl. Tracy said, “We weren’t the best and most talented team in the league, we were just committed. We spent a lot of time together on and off the team. We got to know each other more on a personal level rather than just professional. We were family. In result, it showed on the field and we won the super bowl.” Well said baby daddy 😏.

The first night I wore a black on black with a short sleeve white blazer. I bought a metallic gold tie from Hex a long time ago and it’s never been worn. So I had a bright 💡idea💡to wear the gold tie instead of a gold necklace as a statement piece. It came out really pretty. Bold and beautiful.

For game day I wore a black sleeveless tee from Frock Candy, gold corduroy bell bottom pants by Free People, snakeskin booties from Steve Madden, a denim jacket (that I cut and cropped), a multi-colored snakeskin crossbody by BCBG and “who dat” earrings from Team RLN.
