On my way to a friend’s wedding and of course “there was nothing in my closet to wear”. You can NEVER go wrong with black. Black is my go-to. But there was a certain look I was going for …

My top is a dressy button up from Express. I’ve had these pants for so long that I don’t remember where I got them from. You can find black slacks from anywhere. My crossbody (I used it as a clutch) I got from a local boutique called Frock Candy. Got my shoes from Steve Mdden and thankfully my clutch went well with it. I got my necklace years ago from BCBG. I wore it to the Espy’s after my husband and the Saints won the Super Bowl in 2010.

I wore this (my all black) to a wedding and many of the other beautiful ladies there wore dresses. I rarely EVER wear dresses. I probably have about 6 dresses in total 😂. That just isn’t me. Don’t get me wrong now, if I’m in the mood I will slide my ass in a dress 😩😂. But …. All black is not only for death …. You can make it work for ANYTHING you want!
