Saturday Night in the Red Stick: Simple but Cute
Say Red?! Whats your name? 😂😂😂 Anyway, I went out with my usual crew; husband, sister, cousin … We went to 13th Gate in downtown Baton Rouge. 13th Gate has been in Baton Rouge for YEARS. I mean a long time. Like before I had kids and this was my first time ever going. I thought I wasn’t going to be scared because I aint never scared like Bone Crusher 😂 I kid I kid. I was going in already knowing that it was “scary”. Plus I had worked myself up and had a lot of adrenaline. The line was WRAPPED around the building. So we decide to get the VIP tickets so we woudnt’t have to wait that long. We got in line and the closer we walked up, the more nervous I got. Good thing I peed before I left home because I would have FOR SURE sprinkled a little bit. I don’t like to be walked up on and that’s exactly what they did but they were ugly 😩 which made it 10 times worse. It was SO LONG. My sister started praying for everything that walked upon her 😂 At that point we were tired and ready to go!!!
I decide to dress down because we weren’t doing much but getting drinks and going to 13th Gate. And also because my toes were numb from my boots the night before 😖. I’m a Levi junkie so I wore my black skinny mid-rise Levi jeans with a white Levi logo shirt. Added my Burberry crossbody and a red DAP lip (Dabble). Last but not least my faves; all black Huarache shoes. Simple but cute!
